Dear Dr. Min-Hee RYU,

Thank you for your help.

I have always loved my face, and I was enjoying life until before COVID-19. However, about 5 years ago, I started to worry about the sagging of my face line.

Both Korea and Japan are very visualistic, and the influence of social media has led to people easily shaving off bones, which has completely ruined the silhouette of their face line from the side.

As someone who is neither married nor has children, looking old was one of the things I was most afraid of.

Various doctors have different views on incision lift. I think I have received counseling from most of the famous doctors in Japan, but I was impressed by the fact that the sideburns are left intact, the ligament treatment is accurate, the scars are beautiful, there is no reversal, the direction of lifting and the expected finished face, and the fact that the face is lifted firmly while still having a natural look.

You were the only one who met all the requirements I was looking for!

Also, from the first counseling session, you were very easy to understand for me, and you explained things in detail while showing me many cases, and because of your atmosphere and personality, I definitely wanted to ask you to do the treatment.

Meeting Dr. Ryu is an incredibly happy thing in my life!!

I thought it would be a big hurdle for me to go to a country where I don’t speak the language to have surgery, but after receiving your counseling, all my worries disappeared!! I was really happy!

More than anything, I felt a strong sense of responsibility and sincerity in the fact that you clearly refused to do something if you couldn’t do it.

I don’t know about Korea, but in Japan, there’re a lot of cosmetic surgeons who are only in it for money and have no knowledge or skills, and it’s currently a social problem. The surgeon who performed my submandibular surgery was like that.

The other day, I consulted you about my eyes. I think you taught me the importance of “Knowing enough.” Instead of just saying “I can’t do it” or “There’s no need to do it,” you listened to my current condition until I was satisfied. I was really moved.

If you just say “There’s no need to do it,” I think most patients would look for another doctor who will take it on. Instead, you’re so considerate to your patients and talk to them so well, I think it’s so wonderful!!

I still have a lot to learn as a person and am often lacking in thoughtfulness, but it is at times like these that someone like you, who can think about things from multiple perspectives, is truly intelligent and attractive.

I’m so happy to have met you in my life and to have you operate on me. I’m so grateful.

Once I’m beautiful, I’ll be even more confident in my roles as an actor in movies and dramas than I am now!
